Our friend Emily is an amazing photographer and I’m so glad she agreed to take us out to the Brickworks for a formal family shoot. I wish I could say the ones with technology or the fighting were completely posed, but in truth, the kids were on their phones a lot and the boys spontaneously broke out into wrestling! The lighting was awesome and Emily knows how to work magic… here are the results (there’s a lot… but I loved even more!!)
LOVE LOVE LOVE these pictures of your beautiful family!! Oh, how fun! Now, how on earth will you choose which ones to frame? I say frame them ALL. One big hallway lined with these would be absolutely breathtaking.
Oh what a gorgeous family you have, Leah! Such joy and love oozes from these pics…

Absolutely gorgeous and beautiful photos. Seriously one better than the next and so glad you got an awesome amount of photos of your gang during this shoot 😉

They’re really awesome. I really, really love the indoors ones (or outside against buildings?) with that pleasing light, but the outdoor ones are so much fun.
It can be hard to photograph older kids. Although at least they learn how to sit still, no names mentioned.. Scarlet and Des!

Hello,
That is so cute! We’ve done family portraits too and I think at a certain point I just gave up. Getting three kids to look straight and smile at the same time just never seems to happen.
I have a few photographer friends that do a great job taking pictures for our family (one of them, wheelchair bound mind you, throws chocolate kisses at the kids for paying attention to her…
I’m glad you had such a great experience there!
All the best!
Cheers
